Cant stop thinkin bout new web series called "Asylum" that i auditioned for. I feel this role was made for me! If i get no callback atleast i played role once!

The Cake and the Icing

Our number one problem in life is that we mistake cake for icing. When you land that job you have always wanted...thats the icing on the cake. When you get the dream "role of a lifetime"..thats the icing again. When the doctor says, "Its a boy," or "It's a girl," ...that too, is icing on your already acquired cake! We mistakenly call these events the cake, when really you savored the cake long before these events.
Cake was the lessens you learned when you bombed the first 4 interviews...cake were the many auditons you never got a callback on, but you learned so much about yourself and the process...and cake...was the many hours you and your lover shared intimately together in hopes of making a baby one day...these moments...are the true "Cake" moments.
Today I did not get the job I hoped to get. But, the cake, I enjoyed. I savored every moment of my experience. thank you to those who gave me such an opportunity.
Be grateful for opportunity, be grateful even when you dont get the job. Trust me, something sweet came out of it.

I just ate a piece of salmon again for the first time in years..and...it wasnt bad..i hope i begin to like it...my health could use it!

The Interview

The interview. Some of us will become professional interviewee's, while others will somehow slip by, many times, this awful vocational vice.
At any rate, today it was my turn again. And, for the most part, I enjoyed every minute of it. What I have come to realize is that the process can be quite enjoyable if I only take time to remember "why" i am there! Think of that new home you desire, or that brand new car on the lot you passed on your way to the interview, or that little girl or boy that depends on you for everything except air. It could be a number of things. When I began to look at each interview through the backdrop of these things...i was excited to be there.
What am i saying? Well, look at every situation that plegs you as the backdrop of your dreams. They take on a whole new light!
Today I met some great people in a great industry. I had alot of fun at the interview and I hope to share some great news with you all shortly. Well wishes, and God bless..
